Solo'd texture tracks from the new Folk Implosion Record - all of them made at my home studio by myself after Lou Scott and I had worked together in the core live tracking sessions. Most of these ended up on the cutting floor, sometimes for reasons I disagreed with, sometimes for reasons I agreed with. So I uploaded a rejected pass at the album cover for the lead image of this playlist as well. Mixing is a hard job because the pure sound of a lot of instruments is superior when they are solo'd up and don't step on the toes of other frequency ranges from neighboring tracks. I wouldn't recommend listening to this all the way through or anything, but I do like to go back and review and reconnect with those solo'd up full frequency ranges - almost more than I like actually listening to the final album. Well at least after I've heard the album too many times!
