This month it's all about synths. I just finished John Szwed's biography of Sun Ra, which turned my thoughts to electronic keyboards. My favorite Sun Ra album is Atlantis, though I would never say it is the best Sun Ra album. It's just had a special place for me since I first bought it around 1995, and the last epic electronic keyboard solo really makes me feel like I'm on a journey to the bottom of the ocean. Mmmmm.
